Update from the Road

Dear Friends, Family, and Followers :

I am a couple of days behind in updating my blog. I am planning on taking a rest day on Thursday and will get it caught up then. I am currently in Duncan AZ, and by noon tomorrow (Tuesday, October 5Th) will be in my 3rd state, New Mexico...... So this walk is starting to get serious.

I'm continuing to feel good and my health seems to be good, so nothing is really bothering me. I have been able to put in at least 20 miles a day, which is a good bit better than I had anticipated. I appreciate your interest in my walk, your encouragement, ideas, and suggestions. I hope you will keep following.

Tomorrow is my second oldest grandchild's birthday. My grandson Kevin who lives in England, southwest of London, will be 17. Kevin loves planes and hopes one day to be a pilot. He is a great swimmer, amazing photographer, and an all around good kid.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEVIN!

Talk to you soon.

  1. Keep up the good work Jeff! When I visited New Mexico in 2001, there was beautiful turquoise jewelry around every corner, so I'm sure you'll have no trouble picking me up an early Christmas present :)

  2. Hey Jeff - enjoyed talking to you the other day. I haven't been on the blog for about a week so I am doing some catch-up reading. Now I get why you are walking across America - people are giving you money! I guess every Rudisill I know will strike out walking pretty soon. Have a great rest day. Oh, and happy birthday to Kevin from great aunt Nan.

This might be my 2nd comment - I still have trouble with posting.
