Dear Friends, family, followers, and others:
I've put lots of new posts out in the past couple of days, hope you enjoy those. It covers all our walking so far. I still need to tell you more about our stay in Larry and Dana Bowden's guest house, and how cordial and wonderful hosts they have been. But, gotta get ready to go walking.
We start into the Mojave desert tomorrow for about 6 days. Arrangements have been made to have food and water brought to us thru 4 days, and we think we can reach Vidal Junction on the 5th day, where we can get supplies. We are rested, feet much better, blogs updated, and ready to go.....actually excited to be out there. The weather has cooled off a lot, so seems we even caught a break there (Mike K said that was a little harder to pull off than the other things!)
Won't have a computer out there, and not sure if the phone will work, but maybe so. But will keep you as updated as possible. I saw another roadrunner this morning while wandering around. Picture? Nope, "beep, beep" and he was gone. Also, have you ever seen the Milky Way in person? Quite a spectacle. Take care, and will talk to you soon....Jeff.
